DO YOU KNOW IF YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM AND YOUR EXCESS BODY WEIGHT ARE RELATIVE
I have always been to maintain a healthy and strong immune system. Our immune system is so important to our health that we cannot act as if it did not exist.
Do you think an overweight person 30-40 has a strong immune system?
I know you realize that someone who is overweight is not a healthy condition and 2/3 of Americans are overweight to some extent.
The extra weight affects everything. To name one, hips, knees and ankles. This additional weight puts additional pressure on the immune system because its job is to keep the body healthy and if any damage or tension is applied to the cartilage around these joints, the immune system jumps in an attempt to repair it.
Did you know that for every pound of additional weight you may require up to 10 miles of additional capillaries to transport blood to that added additional tissue?
Let’s look at some of the conditions caused by that extra weight.
• Feet pain
• Difficulty to sleep
• Gallstones
• Difficult breathing
• Career
• Cancer
• Loss of brain volume.
• Infertility
Do you know what causes diabetes?
Answer: It occurs when the systems within the body cannot move glucose from the blood supply to the cells. When this happens, the pancreas pumps more insulin. The reason for this demand for increased insulin is that all these overweight cells become resistant to the insulin message.
So, here is another question … Does overweight cause insulin resistance or is it the opposite, that is, a problem with the body that uses insulin causes weight gain? Actually, both are true!
With people over 50, a study was conducted that indicated that anyone who gained 5 pounds. or more was at risk of a disability of some kind.
Did you know that there are two types of fats? There are and are called “fat accumulation” and “fat deposits.” Fat accumulation “accumulates as triglycerides and this is completely normal because it is kept in the body as a reserve of energy. Now, of course, someone can exaggerate something good and consume a large part of these fatty deposits when overeating or eating the wrong foods. If triglyceride cells become too fat, they will not function at maximum efficiency and this will cause the immune system to overload and also deplete and weaken
The “fatty deposits” will be deposited between the cells and that really affects the function of the cells. One of the results of this type of fat is “fatty liver disease”. This disease has no connection with the excessive indulgence of alcohol consumption.
Fatty liver disease does not warn, has no symptoms, no signs or complications in advance or as a warning that a serious health condition is forming. It is very similar to some types of cancer, without any previous warning.
If left untreated, it can cause liver failure and death.
All these days you should watch what they eat. Some very common products have additives that are pure poison, but that can contaminate our food supply.
One of these essences is “high fructose corn syrup (HFCS). It is found in almost all types of prepared foods, from soft drinks to bread.
Now the fructose in its natural state, as found in fresh fruit, is absolutely as healthy as it can be obtained. But once it is extracted from the fruit, it is processed and concentrated in an additive, it is pure poison in disguise.
This is what the excessive consumption of products containing fructose will cause to occur in the human body.
• Increased appetite.
•Weight gain
• Adrenal Overload
• An increase in heart disease.
• Esophagus cancer
And fructose is slowly taking over the complete food supply, except for all natural and fresh products. This is what has happened since 1977, during the last 30 years. This means that all Americans under 30 have been exposed. In 1977, the average consumption per person in the United States was 37 grams per day, approximately 8% of total calories. In 2005, the average weight was 54.7 grams per day, per person, average. That is an increase of 2%. With teenagers, it gets worse. A whopping 72.8 grams per day for teenagers between the ages of 13 and 19. This represents more than 12% of total calorie intake. The reference for this information is: Medscape J. Med 08; 10: 1160. Now we know why 2/3 of Americans are obese and our teenagers are tormenting the situation.
There is an alternative When you feel the super urgency of a Coca-Cola, look for a bottled in Mexico – YEP – Mexico – or an American bottled Coca-Cola that is kosher. Coca-Cola bottles especially for Easter. These two are made with cane sugar instead of HFCS. If you have to drink a Coke, this is the way to go.
Knowing what types of fat the body has is very important because you will know what fat is lost first and what effect it has on the liver, gallbladder and pancreas. You see that these internal organs also have visceral fat and that is the most dangerous. Why? Because all veins in the abdominal area (the chest and abdomen are separated by the diaphragm) drain directly to the liver.
The liver is unique and central to the entire blood circulation. The health and immune strength of the liver may be one of the most important areas of concern.
There is a problem that the liver has with free fatty acids that can be expelled from the abdominal area. The liver needs to be closely monitored so that fatty liver disease does not invade the liver. That is why a “liver cleanse” is important. The invasion of fatty liver disease could not only include live health, but also the immune system in regards to the liver.
Habits need to change. Weight loss or weight maintenance can only be achieved if you are burning more calories than you consume. Quality food will be the key not only to maintain weight but also for the health of the immune system. Exercise is the second requirement. Vitamin and mineral supplements should be considered to maintain body health during the body’s transition period.
