THE SUBCONSCIOUS DIET CAN HELP PROTECT YOUR CHILD FROM TYPE 2 DIABETES

Until obesity became an epidemic, type 2 diabetes was virtually unknown in children and adolescents. Originally it was called “beginning in adults” because it was seen mainly after middle age. At least 9 million American children are severely overweight and another 9 million are heavy enough to be at risk, however, studies show that many parents deny their children’s obesity. 16% of American children have weight problems, but doctors make weight reduction suggestions to parents about their children in only 1% of visits. There are several reasons for this denial and lack of concern:

Obese mothers almost always recognize that they are overweight, but only 1 in 5 correctly identifies their overweight children.

Many doctors are too busy to get involved in problems that are not directly related to the symptoms for which the child was brought.

78% of the U.S. population UU. Do not see being overweight as a health problem.

Many cultures equate thinness with poverty and hunger; For them, a fat child is a strong and healthy child.

Many parents believe that the child will grow with his weight.

An overweight child will probably become an obese adult. Studies show at least 15 conditions causally related to obesity. They include diabetes, heart disease, sleep apnea, hip fractures, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, end stage renal disease, liver disease, urinary incontinence and various forms of cancer. For many overweight children, the chances of illness in the future are not a concern. There is a much more pressing cause of pain for these obese children on a daily basis. This pain is caused by the discrimination of their classmates. Other children are much more direct and cruel than most adults when it comes to ridiculing the “fat kids” with whom they associate. It is likely that a first grader believes that thinner is better and that young children will put these thoughts into practice by excluding their classmate from their team or calling them by name.

This ridicule can cause a child to withdraw from social interaction or become a stalker, using his weight to intimidate his torturers. Any course of action only causes the child more pain and frustration in the long term.

Most children are not receptive to traditional restrictive diets. When they are told that they can no longer have the food they crave, such as white bread, candy, cookies and ice cream, they feel they are being punished. No matter how much time the father spends trying to convince the child that it is for his own good.

Children will often find access to food they are denied at home with friends, family members who do not believe in diets or spending their own money to buy sweets. If the child has no money, he can start stealing the food he craves.

Many times, when the child gets access to prohibited items, he chokes. 30% of girls and 16% of boys on a diet admitted eating foods that had been banned when they had the chance. Now the child not only feels punished by the father, but has added the guild to the emotional mix by challenging his parents’ orders or breaking the law. This guilt causes stress that can cause the child to act in more serious ways.

Since traditional diets do not work for most people, it is time to start looking for ways to change a person’s way of thinking about food, says Hugh B. Sanders, author of the Subconscious Diet: it is not that puts in his mouth; It’s what you put in your mind!

This is not hypnosis. Hypnosis involves external control, but what is vital for any weight reduction program is an internal control system. A child or an adult should feel that any change, such as a diet, is not only their decision, but also something they understand and want to achieve. Most diets are just restrictions on eating, very few offer the steps to change people’s opinion about the way they approach food.

The subconscious diet shows a person how to develop a new operating system for the subconscious mind. The subconscious is very similar to a computer, since it contains all the values, habits, memories of a person and constantly works to find answers to every situation that life presents to us every day. Like a computer, we can choose to change the way the mind looks for solutions. The steps are relatively simple:

  • Clearly setting our goals (weight loss is a goal).
  • Write and repeat those goals daily (affirmations).
  • Get rid of fear, anger, hate and guilt (let go!).
  • Learn to associate only with positive friends (move away from negativity).
  • See vividly the desired end result in our own mind (visualization).

Children are ideal candidates for the Subconscious Diet because they are more in touch with the subconscious part of their minds than adults in general, and naturally dream awake (Visualize). If the parents help the child to direct those day dreams to focus on a positive vision of the child’s body, eating habits and physical activities, the father can ensure a healthy path for the future of their children.

The trap for parents and really is a benefit, is that they cannot simply tell their children what children have to do. The father must lead by example. Adults in the family must incorporate all these steps into their own lives. “Do what I say, not what I do!” It just doesn’t work and has never worked for children. SUBCONSCIOUS DIET

Eighteen million children are at risk of pain and premature death if their weight is not controlled. If your child is going crazy every day, you must make a decision about the amount of effort you are willing to make to make your child’s life as good as it should be. SUBCONSCIOUS DIET
